Production Update : 2-9-2022

Hello Fellow Singing Tea Kettle Enthusiasts,

With Chinese New Year wrapped up, the working samples released from customs after 30+ days our manufacturing team finally has working samples to learn the assembly process with.

To expedite the project I am raising capital to bring onboard more boots-on-the-ground at our manufacturing facilities to drive quality control and improve iteration times on new parts.

Currently there are still a few projects underway. 

1. Getting the notes to play pitch perfect. 11 discrete notes play, but 2 of the 11 notes sound water logged. The original kettle did not play every note perfectly, but I feel we can do better than the current performance.

2. Handle. We are improving the ergonomics and some other aspects of the kettle handle. 

3. Gasket seal. While we can get the gasket to seal today it can be improved for more reliability.

I do not have a completion date, but continue to feel confident we will complete the project. The biggest problems have been with the slow feedback loop between new batch parts and improving upon them and alignment with manufacturing facilities. Capital can solve both of these problems. For the first time we can present the kettle in gorgeous packaging, place it on a stove, and the kettle will sing. Not perfectly, but very close.
