At the beginning of the pandemic I embarked on an adventure to bring the world's only singing tea kettle to market.  The beauty of engineering and magical connection of tea time lit a spark in me.

Where is production today?

View the latest production update on our blog page here. For the year 2024 we shipped test and sample units to retailers like Williams Sonoma for consideration. More importantly we delivered our first units in retail packaging to customers. We expect to ship out more units early in the New Year. 

 

Why does 24T exist?
We’re here to reimagine tea time as an entirely new ceremony. Our mission is to help families ritualize tea time with a signature song when tea water is boiled.

What is the key problem 24T is solving?
Kettle whistles are irritating and tea time should be pleasant. Tea time should be relaxing and a pleasant experience yet the the loud shrill noise of most kettles disrupts this experience and ends things on a sour note.

Buying unique gifts is tough. Buying memorable gifts as unique as you are is difficult in this age of instant Amazon gratification (everything from A to Z) is nearly impossible - this kettle is unique in all the world in terms of design, history, and song. Gift buyers become frustrated with more banal face care products, candles and chotchkies - we solve that.
Finding connection in family is difficult, household rituals like tea time solve that.

Where does the name come from?
24T, is the tea kettle that sings “Tea for Two”. 2-cycles of the piston. 4 notes. Tea that you drink. Two people connecting.
