Production Update : April 20, 2022

Hello Singing Tea Kettle Enthusiasts,

It's so lovely to update you all on our progress. It's easy to forget sometimes how far we have come. We have literally recreated a complex, 15+ moving part engine in a beautiful form factor and got it to work.  There are still issues with the kettle playing two notes at the same time - however recent tests of the 'sheet music' disc show if the cut outs are made with more precision and moved back ever so slightly it should play.

We are very close (less than 1 week) to recutting the mold for the sheet music which will allow us to hopefully finally resolve the 2 note problem.  Since our last update I injected more capital into the business and have started preparing to fund raise to fnance inventory.

On the engineering front we are also testing means to fine tune the pressure in the kettle. Think of a 1920's Ford Model T hood ornament, that was a steam release valve. The kettle has a similar device which allows excess steam pressure to vent at certain levels. Adjusting the durometer (hardness) of this malleable rubber is one way to do that. So we'll be producing two variants of this rubber stem valve at different durometers.

The new handle with patented improvements is having some revisions so it appears seamless and as beautiful as the kettle.

I will continue to work morning and night on this exciting project. Be very excited for the next few weeks of production process.

Best,
