Production Update : June 5, 2023

Hello, tea lovers!

We have some important updates to share with you about our 24T, the world’s only singing kettle. We have been working hard to make this amazing product a reality, and we are getting closer to the final stage. Here are some of the highlights of our progress:

  • We switched plastic materials to re-test an older hypothesis that the same material type will expand at the same rate and the whistle pump will be less likely to bind up. This worked. We developed 4 working prototypes without issue.
  • We discovered the original 1986 tea kettle body had a different weld type at the neck of the kettle. This allowed the gasket to seat better. We are redesigning the gasket with this knowledge.New 3D scan of kettle neck for gasket design
  • Investors remain interested and were shipped a working kettle to Hong Kong. During shipping something happened and the kettle does not function. More kettles were shipped to our factory in China and they also do not function despite working 10 days earlier. We are putting together the investor team’s engineers with our engineers to debug. I continue to invest heavily in the project and remain dedicated to seeing this through.
