Hello Singing Tea Kettle Enthusiasts!
It’s been a while since my last update, so here’s where we stand:
First Production Run: On September 18th, we received parts for 50 units, but with low yields. We’re producing extra components to ensure the best fit and performance.
Supplier Issues: We had delays due to a metal supplier changing the handle bracket thickness, which caused fitment issues. We’ve adjusted the handles to work with the current parts.
Part 14/15 Setback: We’re facing challenges with the critical alignment of parts 14 and 15 (piston and inner sleeves). The team is investigating this, and we hope to resolve it soon. The China National Holiday just ended, and we're actively troubleshooting at the factory.
I understand the delay is frustrating, but I won’t ship temperamental kettles. I’ve added incentives for the production team to get this right.
You can cancel your pre-order for a refund at any time. If you’re one of the first 50 customers, you’ll have the option to receive these early units once we resolve the issue.
Each kettle will have unique sound performance since they are handcrafted.
Please note, returns won’t be available, but the product is warrantied. I’ll do my best to ensure your satisfaction, but only proceed if you’re genuinely interested in supporting this project.
